Reagan's Gone, Bachman's Here

President Ronald Reagan's 1981 Christmas Address

I just watched the Obama's Christmas Proclamation for 2011. It was disheartening. We have a president who has no problem waxing eloquent praising Ramadan but is not Christian enough to make a positive statement about the importance of the birth of Jesus. Obama is no Reagan!

As we head into another election campaign, I think we would do well to remember that the core religious beliefs of a president matter. If we value our faith and our freedoms, we must elect a new president with a Christian worldview to lead this nation during the turbulent days ahead. Not one who just talks about "faith" but one who has a track record of standing on Christian principles.

The United States of America was founded on Christian principles. The freedoms we hold dear originated with the God of Christmas from Whom our inalienable rights derive. He is the God in Whom we trust! He deserves reverence, appreciation and obedience.

"America is great because America is good. If she ceases to be good she will cease to be great." Alexis de Toqueville

If we want to restore our nation to its former glory and power, we need to return God to our classrooms and to the public arena. Posting the 10 Commandments should not be forbidden in our schools and the freedom to pray should not be restricted. The constitution is on the side of conservatives. We need to take our freedoms back which have been stolen by liberal judges. Christians should have at least as much freedom to publicly practice their faith as Muslims do.

The politically correct concepts of pluralism, multiculturalism, diversity, relativism and tolerance are stifling Christian freedoms! Secular elites through academia and the media are using these terms to muzzle Christians. Only Judeo-Christian beliefs and practices are considered unacceptable in the  public forum of our country today.

Liberal judges forbid Christians to pray in schools and at football games and graduation ceremonies while enforcing special "religious rights" for anti-Christian groups like Muslims. Shouldn't the privileges based on diversity, multiculturalism and tolerance apply to our own culture as well? This anti-Christian trend needs to be reversed. Believers should speak up and vote based on their principles rather than their pocket books or their emotions.

These diabolical, dis-ingenuous, "newspeak" terms are undercutting American patriotism and destroying the world's only true melting pot by encouraging ethnic groups to resist integration into mainstream American society.

We desperately need a change of leadership!

We need a courageous, politically incorrect president committed to enforcing the constitution.

We need a president committed to shrinking the size of government and empowering the states.
We need a president who will lead the Congress to massively cut spending.
We need a president who will abolish Obamacare.
We need a president who will deliver us from the current liberal-socialist agenda!
We need a president who will call for an overhaul of the tax system.
We need a president who will lead Congress to cut the extraneous regulations strangling the free market.

We need a president who will appoint judges to make decisions squarely based on the constitution.
We need a president who values life!!!
We need a president who will appoint impartial Department of Justice officials to enforce our laws.
We need a president who will control the borders and work on settling illegal alien issues.
We need a president who will limit immigration to those who are able to adapt to our culture.

We need a president who is not ashamed of America and her historical accomplishments.
We need a president who will support Israel publicly and privately and stand by her friends.
We need a president who leads with confidence, strength and morality.
We need a president who won't try to appease terrorists.

We need a president who will sincerely lead the nation in celebrating our Christian Holidays.
We need a president who will promote and participate in the National Day of Prayer.
We need a president who will work to promote unity within the country.

We need a president who will reverse Obama's economically destructive executive orders.
We need a president who does not believe in man made Global Warming.
We need a president who will resist the Green Agenda and abolish the EPA.
We need a president who will create an energy friendly environment to lower costs and create jobs.
We need a president who will deliver us from dependence on foreign oil which funds terrorism!

Basically, as my 14 year daughter says, "We need a president who is not Obama, who is a conservative, and who will kick the country back in line."

Based on all the qualifications I desire in a president,
Michelle Bachmann is my favorite candidate so far.

Broad Way to Destruction

Highway to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
Google Images
"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Matthew 7:13-14

I've seen this picture of the highway to Mecca used to illustrate that Arabs practice apartheid and it clearly proclaims that message, but the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this picture was the words of Jesus about the broad way to destruction. As you can see, there is a broad way of four lanes for Muslims to get to Mecca and there is a narrow way, a one lane exit, for non-Muslims to avoid that mistake.

As the Bible says, "There is a way that seems right to a man (in this case a Muslim) but in the end it leads to death." Proverbs 14:12

Mecca is the home of Islam's Kaaba which houses the ancient black stone. It is the number one religious site for those who worship Allah so all Muslim's must, if humanly possible, make a pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in their lifetime.

Non-Muslims, who are classified by Muslims as unclean infidels (unbelievers) are not allowed to go to Mecca. (That's one rule most non-Muslims gladly obey!)

However, this rule reveals a major difference between Christianity and Islam. Christians welcome unbelievers into their assemblies so they can share truth with them and let them decide how they will respond to it. But, Muslims forbid unbelievers entrance into their activities unless they first confess, "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his prophet." (Like Nancy Pelosi saying the congressmen must sign the health care bill before they could read it, that's exactly backwards!)

Only after one confesses belief in Allah can one enter the city of Mecca to see the Kaaba where Muslim pilgrims circle the interior courts of the building seven times saying rote prayers and kiss the ancient black stone before heading out to Mt Arafat to throw stones at a symbolic Satan so they can fulfill the 5th Pillar of Islam and become known as a Hajji (one who has made the pilgrimage to Mecca).

Since Islam is the anti-Christ religion, the laws of Islam are opposite the laws of the true God.

Under the true God, Who is a God of love and freedom, everyone is free to make their own choice. Anyone can take the broad way to destruction if they choose to. They can reject the very existence of God and the need for a personal Savior, or they can follow the teachings of numerous religions like Islam which require the futile and deceptive practice of "works" to earn one's own salvation.

Then, of course, one is also free to respond to the drawing of God's Spirit and choose the narrow gate to life through Jesus Christ, Who provides salvation for all who put their trust in Him alone.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Jesus said, "I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.
He will come in and go out, and find pasture." John 10:9

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life.
He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; John 11:25

Do you believe the testimony and promises of Jesus?

You are free to believe or reject His message. But your choice has consequences.

Please choose eternal life!

Don't take the broad way to destruction.

Prayer That Gets Results

 Icon of James
called James the Just, James the Righteous and James the brother of God
wikipedia image

The Apostle James was a very practical teacher. The book of James, which he wrote, is filled with down to earth instructions for Christian living.

He covers dealing with trials and temptations.

He gives instructions for proper listening and speaking and controlling anger.

He forbids favoritism and promotes loving one's neighbor, extending mercy, showing one's faith through good deeds, controlling the tongue, displaying humility, walking in godly wisdom, being a peacemaker, and living in submission to God.

He warns against boasting and oppressing the weak and the poor.

He also encourages patience through hard times and the absolute avoidance of swearing.

And finally, in chapter 5, using the prophet Elijah as his example, he teaches on prayer, which is my focus in this blog.

The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:16b-18

Aspects of Prevailing Prayer

1.  Prevailing Prayer is Fervent. It is an energetic (working, active, powerful) exercise. It requires sincere concern for the accomplishment of God's will.

    ... he prayed earnestly (pleaded)

2.  Prevailing Prayer requires a Righteous Person. The one praying must be one whose thoughts, feelings and actions are wholly conformed to the will of God.  A righteous man is righteous because he has confessed his sins, been forgiven, and lives by faith in God. When he prays, he prays according to the knowledge of God’s will gained from His written Word and through revelations from His Spirit.

I realize that some Christians believe praying according to God's will is a cop out. They think it leaves one free to excuse unanswered prayers as "not God's will." Well, it does open that door because God usually only answers prayers if they are prayed in agreement with His will.

3.  Prevailing Prayer Avails. It always produces extraordinary results which are only possible as a result of the intervention of God. Why? Because prayer made according to God’s will always accomplishes God’s plans.

...it did not rain on the land for three years and six months.        And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

In this story from the Book of Kings, God sent a three year drought as a punishment for their wickedness and God was ready to let it rain again at the end of the three years.

He led Elijah to pray for rain so that the unbelievers would see Elijah's relationship with God was genuine and that God was the giver of the rain. (And, also as a confirmation for believers that the rain was from God.)

God was demonstrating His power through His prophet. He delights in working through His people and in revealing His benevolent nature to mankind.

For more details, read the entire story found in 1 Kings chapters 17 and 18.

According to James, effective prayer always flows out of a relationship with God through the Holy Spirit Who reveals and then fulfills God’s will in this world in general and in our lives in particular.

Julian of Norwich claimed she received this same principle from the Lord, "I am the ground of your beseeching: first it is my will that you have it, and then I make you desire it, and after I make you beseech it; how should it then be that you should not have your beseeching?"

What an encouraging word!

If we want answered prayers we should always seek to pray according to His will.
After all, He knows best!

Islam's Days Are Numbered

Swords into Plowshares

Most of the visits to my blog of late have been from readers interested in my Islamic blogs, and based on world events, I can understand why.

With the USA having spent in the neighborhood of one trillion dollars in the last 10 years fighting wars against Islamic terrorism in Muslim countries;

And, with Palestinians trying to bypass peace negotiations with Israel and force the UN to recognize them as a nation state without even having to agree that Israel has a right to exist;

And, with Islamic rebels having been brought into power in Libya with NATO assistance using their new found powers to slaughter black African Sudanese Christians among other atrocities;

And, with newly empowered and emboldened Muslims in Egypt stepping up the persecution and killing of Coptic Christians in Egypt;

And with Tunisia and other countries coming under Islamic control since Obama came into office;

And, with Islamic jihad bombs regularly exploding around the world in an attempt to force countries to bow to Islamic demands:

And with anti-Semitism on the rise again;

It's not a wonder that people worldwide are interested in Islamic blogs that expose the truth:

Especially when so many of our western political, religious, academic and media talking heads around the world and in the USA are complicit with Muslim leaders in describing Islam as a "Religion of Peace." (They expect us to believe the BIG LIE they are telling us-- simply because they keep repeating it. That tactic worked in Nazi Germany. We had better hope and pray we have learned something from history!)

I'm only one voice but I want to use the freedom of speech we still enjoy to speak the truth which political correctness is trying to deny us.

Contrary to all the reassuring voices abroad in the land today, Islam is not a religion of peace. Rather, it is a tool of the devil. Islam will have no peace with any other belief system, religious or otherwise, because Islam demands submission from all to Allah and his requirements. And since even Muslims differ about what those requirements are, they can't even make peace among themselves-- much less will they ever bring peace to the world. Again, Islam is not a religion of peace.

Islam not only lacks peace, it also lacks the freedom it purports to offer. According to Islam, its followers have been set free from all the requirements of all other religions and the traditions of men. The catch is, all the world must live under the Sharia Law of Allah, and those laws are strictly enforced with all the authority of the government.

Yes, Islam is a tyrannical religious/political system. It favors Muslim males. Its laws are especially hard on women and Non-Muslims (second class citizens who are denied basic human rights and only allowed to live as long as they honor and obey Muslims, and pay the special taxes required of them), but no one is truly safe under such a system. Corrupt officials endanger the lives of all who find themselves subject to Sharia Law and there is no higher authority to appeal to.

Islam not only lacks peace and freedom, it fails to place a high value on human life. Islam is not grounded in moral teachings from a God who values all human life. Rather, it is a religion that glorifies death! Its adherents rejoice when "unbelievers" perish. And, they celebrate the death of their own who die killing others. Untold millions have already perished globally in the 1400 years since this bloody, tyrannical system was developed in the desert land of the Hagarites, known today as Saudi Arabia. How many more will be destroyed before the light finally conquers this malignant force of darkness?

Islamic jihadists kill without provocation. They kill randomly and they kill based on the clear teachings of the Qur'an and as the obedient warriors of Allah. They are not Islamic extremists. They are actually Islamic fundamentalists. In fact, following the example of their prophet, they kill without compassion or remorse and even rejoice in the name of their god; before, during and after their deadly attacks.

And, jihadists believe they will be blessed for the murders they commit. Those who die in the act of killing are considered to be martyrs and have been promised they will bypass any suffering in hell and go straight into the arms of 70 virgins prepared especially for them. They also hope to be able to deliver a few close relatives from hell, as well. That is quite an incentive! (Without Jesus to save them, they have no other hope of avoiding suffering.)

What kind of a god makes promises of such base sensual gratification to his followers for laying down their  lives to murder unsuspecting innocents who aren't even given an opportunity to repent? It's not a loving God like Yahweh, of the Holy Bible, Who is "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance!" It sounds more like the being described by Jesus when He said, "Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy." Who but Satan could be behind such a deceptive, destructive religious/political system?

Yes, Satan is the god and father of Islam. He, like a roaring lion, goes about seeking whom he may devour.

The world will have no peace until Jesus Christ, the Jewish Prince of Peace, comes to conquer the destroyer and beat the swords into plowshares as He rules the world in peace from Jerusalem. That's why Satan, working through Islam, hates Israel and seeks to destroy it. But don't worry, Islam's days are numbered and Jesus is coming soon!

New Living Translation (©2007)
The LORD (Jesus) will mediate between peoples and will settle disputes between strong nations far away. They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer fight against nation, nor train for war anymore. Micah 4:3

I urge all readers of my blog to seek eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone. He died on the cross of Calvary for the sins of all mankind to set us free from sin's penalty and to give us abundant life now and forever!  Please turn to Him. He loves you! Today is the day of salvation!

New Living Translation (©2007)
For God says, "At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you." Indeed, the "right time" is now. Today is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2

God Makes the Unclean Clean!

This blog is a response to a Muslim's blog questioning why Christians believe it's alright to eat pork. We know Jews avoid pork because they live under the Old Testament law and Muslims avoid pork because it is forbidden to them in the Qur'an. So, why do Christians, who live by the Bible, which includes the Old Testament law, feel free to eat pork? This is hard for non-Christians to understand, so here's my explanation.

The Old Testament was a covenant God made with the Jews. It was a covenant based on living by laws and making animal sacrifices to cover for one’s sins from year to year. It was a covenant made by God to expire. Yes, that's right. It was never meant to be permanent! Before He gave the law to the Jews through Moses, God knew the law could not save people from their sin nature inherited from Adam. God also knew the law could not keep the Jews from living in sin. But, the law had a good purpose. The law was given to the Jews as a standard for right living. It was given to teach them that it was impossible to live a truly righteous life through human effort alone. God wanted them to look to Him and their coming redeemer, Jesus, for salvation.

The Old Testament law was multi-faceted. It included ceremonial instructions for the Priests, the Levites, and the religious practitioner to follow to properly worship a Holy God. It also included food and hygiene laws to protect the health of the congregation. And it laid down guidelines for moral living.

Of the three categories of laws, only the moral laws are as binding as gravity. They never change because they are rooted in God's Perfections. Ceremonial laws and health guidelines can be changed over time based on the current needs.

For example: Jews can’t fulfill the ceremonial instructions God gave them, such as animal sacrifices, without their Temple in Jerusalem. They have been without their Temple for almost 2000 years now. It was destroyed in 70 AD. And, they haven't been able to rebuild their temple since they became a modern nation in 1948 because Muslims (due to geo-political constraints on Israel) have retained control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. God obviously knows the situation.

Another example is eating pork. This restriction is a health issue. Eating pork (barbeque sauce or not) can be a dangerous practice when pigs are raised in filthy conditions. Also, when pork isn't cooked properly it may pass harmful parasites to people. But, eating pork is not dangerous when pigs are raised in fairly clean conditions and the meat is properly cooked. God gave "the laws" He gave "when" He gave them for good reasons. So, pork was forbidden under the Old Covenant guidelines.

The New Testament reveals a New Covenant given by God to the Jews and Gentiles together. It is freely given to all who believe and enter into a covenant relationship with God based on, and guaranteed by, the sacrifice of His only Son, Jesus.

When Jesus died on the cross, He said, “It is finished.” What was He talking about? He was proclaiming that the power of death and hell was broken! They could no longer hold a sinner if that sinner claimed, by faith, his freedom from sin's death penalty through the blood of Jesus! Jesus had paid the full price for our redemption from sin!

The requirement of the law says, "Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin." Under that law, every sinner must pay for his sin with his life. He is doomed forever and can't help himself or anyone else-- for all have sinned and owe their lives as the penalty. The situation looks bleak indeed.

Yes, it looks bleak, but it was never hopeless. From eternity past, before creation, God had a plan! Jesus, the sinless Son of God would die in our place! If He'd been sinless, but a mere mortal man, He could only have died in the place of one sinner. But, because He is God, the value of His sacrificial death covered all sin for all time! Therefore, He is able to "save to the uttermost" all who put their trust in Him! Now, that's good news!

But, what does it mean to put your trust in Jesus? When one puts their trust in Jesus, by grace, He gives them a new heart which gives them the ability to live a righteous life apart from the law.

For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14

They are born again in the Spirit of God and filled with His love. The past sins of a spiritually newborn Christian are cast into the sea of forgetfulness never to be remembered against them again! And, because mortals are not perfect, Jesus also continuously cleanses His followers from unrighteousness as they confess their sins. Praise God for His love and complete provision!

Many New Testament passages deal with concern for outward cleanliness which neglects the heart. Jesus sat down to eat with the Pharisees on one occasion without washing His hands to teach them about the importance of heart issues. They were indignant and it gave Him the opportunity to tell them about their “unwashed heart issues.”

On another occasion Jesus said, “It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.” Matt 15:11

As a good Jew, Peter tried to avoid contact with Gentiles, considering them unclean. In order to open his eyes to his need to change and accept all people, God gave him a vision. A sheet was lowered from heaven filled with all kinds of "unclean" (under the standards of the law) four footed animals, reptiles and birds and he heard a command, “Rise Peter, kill and eat.” Peter refused saying, “I’ve never eaten anything that is unclean.” He was shown the animals and given the command 3 times and then God said, “Don’t call anything unclean which God has made clean.” Finally, he believed and received the command.

After that Peter began to associate with Gentiles and to understand his freedom in Christ. And later, Paul gave more specific teachings about our freedom in Christ concerning eating meats and many other issues concerning the law.  He said, “The law was our guardian until Christ came; it protected us until we could be made right with God through faith.” Gal:3:24

"our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life." 2 Corinthians 3:5-7

After telling his disciples (in Matthew 5:20) "unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven."  Jesus warned his disciples to "beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees." (Matthew 16:6) They did not originally understand His meaning, so He clarified Himself, and they understood He referred to the tainted doctrine of those religious groups.

What was the problem with the doctrine of the Pharisees and the Sadducees? Their doctrines were legalistic and not based on a relationship with God. It was the "letter of the law" which "kills".

The Pharisees attempted to follow the laws they chose to follow meticulously (even setting stricter requirements than the law) and they focused on outward piety because they loved the praise of men! On the other hand, they felt free to replace some of God's commandments with the oral traditions of men. Their attempts at works righteousness looked good to men but displeased God. Why? Because they didn't love God and their neighbors! They thought their good works could save them so they didn't humble themselves before God and receive His provision of salvation through Jesus Christ.

The Sadducees were sceptics. They didn't believe in miracles or believe in the resurrection. They focused on the Torah and denied the oral tradition. For them, "an eye for an eye" was a literal punishment that should be carried out without mercy. Unlike God, they were big on law and low on mercy. So, they missed God's provision of mercy for themselves as they rejected Jesus Christ.

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17
Just as you can wash your body and make it clean, God can wash your heart and cleanse you from unrighteousness. Yes, the unclean can become clean. Praise God for His marvelous, saving grace.

Let me be clear. God cares more about the condition of your heart than about whether you eat pork or not. He doesn't want you stuck struggling with trivial details of the letter of the law. That will surely kill you. He wants you to turn to Him for new life and total salvation!

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14

Islam Doesn't Integrate, It Dominates

As you know, I've been reading books, articles and blogs about Islam for the last few months. The information out there is endless but not everyone has the time or desire to pursue, absorb and process it. I'm hoping that by sharing some of it in fairly short blogs it will help spread the message to some who are unaware and willing to pass it along.

This is a crucial current issue. Consider Thailand, Sudan and now Libya. Muslims are taking over everywhere they can as fast as they can. Several countries have fallen to Muslim control on Obama's watch and with his aid-- without the approval of the American people! If he's not a Muslim, he's certainly the most powerful friend they've ever had in the USA.

As my title declares, Islam intends to rule the world. The posters carried by their rioters making that exact claim are serious. If you dismiss their intent, it is to your own peril. Germans and many other Europeans who ignored Hitler's intent clearly revealed in Mein Kampf lived (or died) regretting it.

I want to share some excerpts from Dr. Peter Hammond's book: Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat. I've just ordered the book through Amazon for myself after finding this information online. It's as dated as the book-- published in 2005.

Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges. When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.

Here's how it works:

As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States -- Muslim 0.6%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1.8%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Denmark -- Muslim 2%
Germany -- Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%
Spain -- Muslim 4%
Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

France -- Muslim 8%
Philippines -- 5% Sweden -- Muslim 5%
Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris, we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam, with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections in:

Guyana -- Muslim 10%
India -- Muslim 13.4%
Israel -- Muslim 16%
Kenya -- Muslim 10%
Russia -- Muslim 15%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia -- Muslim 40%
Chad -- Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non- believers of all other religions (including non- conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

Albania -- Muslim 70%
Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%
Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%
Sudan -- Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:.

Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
Egypt -- Muslim 90%
Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
Iran -- Muslim 98%
Iraq -- Muslim 97%
Jordan -- Muslim 92%
Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
"Palestine" -- Muslim 99%
Syria -- Muslim 90%
Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-al-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrassas are the only schools, and the Koran is the only "Word", such as in:

Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
Somalia -- Muslim 100%
Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

When I consider all the "Religion of Peace" propaganda being spread by the media and the political elite I can't help but think about the warning given by Paul in I Thessalonians 5:3. NKJV

"For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them..."

It is not a time to believe in the possibility of "peace and safety" for those who do nothing to prevent the triumph of evil in our land. It is a time to stand for truth and resist tyranny.

Resist in prayer! God is greater than any enemy and will rescue us if we humble ourselves in repentance.

Resist in the ballot box. Jesus said to render unto to Caesar that which is Caesar's. In the USA that means don't forsake your God given right to vote.

Resist in speech. If you allow political correctness to silence you while you have freedom of speech, where will you find the boldness to speak up when your freedoms are taken from you?

Resist by living righteously!

...if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.     2 Chronicles 7:14

Islam could never dominate a strong Christian nation but we have been weakened from within by sin.  We will have to take this verse seriously if we want to resist the domination of Islam and preserve our Christian heritage and our freedom.

Muslim, Pirate, Terrorist: One Agenda

Burning of the uss philadelphia.jpg

Wikipedia. First Barbary War

After reading a cartoon posted by a Muslim which portrayed American soldiers as terrorists, I had to respond. And, in case you may be confused by the politically correct lies abroad in the world today, I decided to share my response with you as well.

We may wish to avoid war with Islam, but Islam is at war with non-Muslims, whether we like it or not; whether we admit it or not. Ever since Muhammad gave the Muslims the green light for killing non-Muslims, they have been at war with us. Thomas Jefferson asked, “Why?” They told him Islam is meant to rule the world. This response startled him and led us into war with the Muslim Barbary Pirates 200 years before 9/11.

It’s time to wake up, quit feeling guilty for having Western values, and start resisting the Islamic takeover of the West.

My response to the cartoon:
I think you might be overlooking all the Muslim terrorist activities around the world for the past 1400 years. No other religion has such an aggressive and bloody history. Europe may have forgotten Islam’s attempts to conquer it and even taken on a skewed sense of guilt for the Crusades because of revisionist history but we should all remember 9/11, and the Ft Hood Massacre.

Think about the Muslim’s committing genocide in Sudan. How did Pakistan come into existence? When will the Muslim violence end in India and Bangladesh, etc.? (Multiplied millions of non-Muslims have perished in these areas alone.)

How did the Middle East become Muslim when it started out Christian? It was by the sword-- it wasn’t by friendly evangelism.

Do you know the history of the Muslim Barbary pirates? Do you realize we have Muslim Somali pirates operating in the Indian Ocean today?

Muslim rulers are killing Muslims in the Arab Spring because Muslims want more freedom. The Muslim Taliban is killing Muslims as well as US soldiers. Don’t you think Americans want to come home? What will we have gained for our efforts in fighting for peace until supremist Muslims stop the senseless and unprovoked killing of non-Muslims and one another?

Sunnis kill Shiites and vice versa. Islam is not a religion of peace and never will be. Only those individuals who turn to Jesus, the Prince of Peace, will ever find true peace.

Islam has been a drain on the non-Muslim world ever since it came into existence. Many millions of people have been murdered because they did not want to convert to Islam. Many ancient cultures have perished. Trillions of dollars have been transferred from non-Muslims to Muslims through jizyah taxes, as ransom for captives, as protection money to avoid unprovoked attacks on land and sea, in nation building efforts for Muslim Peoples, and in fighting terrorists seeking to expand Islam’s dominion.

In answer to your question, “Who is responsible for terrorism?”

Satan, who comes to kill, steal and destroy! And those who follow him and act like him.

If Americans acted like some Muslims act, we would attack your embassies and kill some of your people for sharing this cartoon! But, we don’t act like some Muslims act because we believe in freedom of speech and expression. It would be nice if we could get a little respect and appreciation once in a while.

Final Thoughts:
President Thomas Jefferson thought it worthwhile to go to war with the Muslim Barbary Pirates in 1801, when our nation was young. Yes, we fought, way back then, on the “shores of Tripoli” and we are at it again in Libya today, as well as in Afghanistan and Iraq. Why? Because the Muslim threat to the non-Muslim world and even to Muslims hasn’t ended.

The truth is available to the interested but don’t expect to find it in our mainstream colleges and universities; too many of them have been bought by Islamics and are pushing a revisionist history of Islam and the “Religion of Peace” myth. And, our liberal academics are helping them because they consider Christians and patriotic Americans more dangerous than terrorists.

Please remember, I’m against Islam, not Muslims. Muslims need to know the real Jesus loves them and died for their salvation! Please get involved. Share truth and pray for their deliverance from Islam– and ours.

I welcome your comments.

A Right End From A Right Means

Do justice. In order to do justice one must know what justice means. Justice can be defined as ”ensuring that persons receive earned rewards and punishments fairly and squarely based on their behavior–with no favoritism.”

You will notice that justice has no room for compassion. The pragmatic liberal concoction known as “Social Justice” is based on a false definition of justice distorted by a faux compassion which robs justice of its just-ness (righteousness).  God forbids this!

Note: For compassion to be enacted, Justice & Mercy must Kiss and find a way to cover for the wrong done. If this was not the case, Jesus would not have died on the cross. His flesh pleaded for another way to satisfy the Justice of God, but there was no other way, so He yielded to only way and died for us because He loves us.

To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.  Proverbs 21:3  NKJV

We’ll look at a few more “justice and righteousness” scriptures later in this blog, but it seems clear that Yahweh demands righteous justice. So how does God’s demand for righteous justice fit in current thought and practice among liberals and conservatives?

The left pragmatically demands just outcomes.  Liberals promote unequal, even unfair, treatment enforced by government to get what they see as “fair” results. Liberals believe it is acceptable to unjustly take wealth (jobs, property, benefits) from some and give it to others.

The right stresses just laws and procedures. Conservatives insist that individuals be allowed to own, use, and dispose of personal property as they see fit. Their property  should be safe from seizure by neighbors or by government. Conservatives allow for  unequal, and possibly unfair results if they are based on just treatment.

Scripture reveals God’s view of justice and that view is promoted by Conservatives who believe the Bible reveals God’s will to man for our good. The Conservative view has been the foundation of Western civilization for millennia but it is being undermined today by Liberals who distort and/or dismiss God’s Word.

Deuteronomy 16:20 says, “Justice, justice, shall you pursue.”

When a word is repeated in scripture, there is a reason. Let’s look at it. The Hebrew word repeated in this passage is “Tzedek.” It translates as ”justice” and “righteousness.”

One could therefore have translated the verse as “Righteous justice shall you pursue.”  Or “Just righteousness shall you pursue.”

Either way, the command is given by God that justice must be accomplished in the right way or it is not, in fact,  justice.  A pragmatic person or governmental policy is without a moral foundation when attempting to accomplish a “right thing” in a “wrong way.” If a desired outcome is obtained through illegitimate means, the outcome as well as the means is illegitimate. Someone was robbed of justice to help someone else receive an unjust benefit. Two wrongs– not right!

To be more precise, the Bible condemns the social engineering methods used by the Liberals and Progressives today. The Bible forbids meeting the needs of the poor by confiscating the wealth of those who inherited, created or earned it. To achieve a righteous end you must employ only righteous means.

The Deuteronomy passage is not isolated. Leviticus 19:15 says, ”You shall not commit a perversion of justice; you shall not favor the poor and you shall not honor the great; with righteousness (Tzedek) shall you judge your fellow.”

This passage covers both our natural temptation to favor the underdog, which feels like compassion, and our temptation to kowtow to the wealthy. Both are strictly forbidden as perversions of justice!

While the Bible in both Testaments demands that compassionate acts are required in dealing with widows, orphans and the poor; those acts are to be freely carried out by individuals and are never to be the result of coercion. Charity is to be freely given. Just justice is to be enforced by the courts. The courts may not enforce charity and deny justice to satisfy anyone’s faux compassion. The compassionate should show compassion from their own personal possessions and/or by their own personal labors.

Since this is the clear teaching of scripture, why are so many divinity schools and pulpits filled with dogmatic liberal clergy who twist and contradict the Bible? This state of affairs is based on the anti-literalist interpretation of scripture in these institutions. They think that much of scripture is outdated and irrelevant and therefore does not speak to issues today; so, they alter, misinterpret or dismiss its teachings altogether.

This anti-literalism has led to pragmatism among liberals. And this pragmatism makes ”unjust justice” (legal favoritism) perfectly acceptable to them. In fact, they demand it and accuse conservatives of lacking compassion because conservatives believe in and practice ”just justice” and individual charity based on a literal interpretation of God’s Word.

In this era of Liberal Political Correctness, such topics are rarely discussed with openness and clarity. I trust this article will shed some light on the subject and God will open eyes to the truth that is clearly revealed in His Word for those whose eyes can see.

Let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream. Amos 5:24 NKJV

…for My salvation is near to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.  Isaiah 56:1  NKJV

Rightly Dividing God's Word

One cannot hope to discuss honest questions about the Bible until one is open to the possibility that the Bible is God’s Word and Truth is to be found therein. Why? Because that is the claim the Bible makes for itself. If it is not what it claims to be, it is entirely worthless.

Also, one cannot find the Truth in the Bible until one is willing to study it as a whole, reading all passages in their original context, and comparing them to the entire Word of God for confirmation and clarity. That is what "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" is all about.

For those liberals and atheists who cherry pick every "problem" passage in the Bible and pull it out of context to demean and belittle scripture as a whole and deny that it is the inspired Word of God, the problem is not with the Bible but with their methodology. No book could be properly understood using that approach to its contents.

I have been "discussing" Biblical truth with a self-described "progressive Christian" who challenges my use of quoted scripture in discussions because he feels they can too easily be pulled out of context.

My question is,"How then can we use scripture in a discussion at all?" It is obvious that one cannot quote the entire Bible or even quote a book or a chapter to discuss each point made due to time constraints.

The honest use of scripture involves quoting it in a sense that is true to its context and allowing others to check it out if they need to verify its use.

To abandon scripture and simply discuss men's ideas leads to a mental morass. The quicksand would soon swallow us all. There would be no standard. No Rock.

The progressive says, "...although some parts of the Bible are clearly inspired, other parts are just as clearly based on superstition and represent undesirable ways of dealing with others."

This statement clearly contradicts God's Word. It says: All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Tim 3:16

I believe God's Word is true even though I don't understand everything revealed therein. The progressive rejects some of the message so he also rejects the inspiration. He said,
"Raping virgins, or stoning people to death for minor transgressions of outdated customs, or wiping out those of non Judaic descent on Gods command does not fit with my views, but if you honestly believe that is the word of God, or even was ever the word of God, I doubt if I could persuade you otherwise."

I responded. "I’m very aware of the two main passages you refer to about raping virgins. That would be Lot’s daughters (which Lot offered to the men of Sodom to protect his male visitors who turned out to be angels–- and ended up protecting the daughters so that they were not raped).

You are offended that Lot offered them and so am I. It was outrageous! The Bible reports what Lot said and did, but does not approve of it. The fact that the angels intervened to save them shows they disapproved of his intention.

The other incident is in the book of Judges. A Levite is traveling with his concubine and ends up in Gibeah of Israel at dusk.   An elderly man offers hospitality to them but the wicked men of the town surround the house and demand the man be given to them to sexually abuse. The old man offers them his virgin daughter and the Levite’s concubine– considering the rape of women to be less heinous than homosexual rape. The men persist in their demands until the Levite shoves his concubine out the door. The depraved men use and abuse her so badly she dies. This leads to a war and further undesirable behavior to save the tribe of Benjamin from extinction.

Where you and I differ is in perception of the Word of God concerning these issues. The Bible reports the wicked activities of men without approving of them. The Book of Judges clearly states that the Israelites (as a whole) were not following Yahweh at that time but were “doing what was right in their own eyes”. The entire book of Judges is about the cycle of sin leading to bondage leading to repentance and then deliverance over and over again. It teaches how quickly societies become depraved when they refuse to live by God’s laws. And it is a historical background for how Israel changed from a Theocracy ruled by Judges to a Kingdom ruled by an earthly King.

The only way the Bible could be an accurate history of the world without discussing the sinfulness of mankind would be to leave us out of it altogether– and that would annul its purpose since Jesus came to save us from our sins.

I could discuss the other things you mentioned as well with the understanding of how they fit into God’s Word and do not disqualify the Bible, as a whole, from being God inspired, but it would be very lengthy.

My point is, pulling scriptures out of context and making sweeping negative statements about them without looking into the actual setting and purpose of those scriptures is very misleading." It leads one into slandering God, His law, the nation of Israel and even Christianity.

To believe and receive Jesus Christ into one’s life is the best decision one can make. Offering this opportunity to all mankind is clearly the purpose of the Bible. All our questions may not be answered in this life, but salvation can be received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. And, that is the most important truth to be found by "rightly dividing" God's Word to gain a correct understanding the Bible.

Hide God's Word In Your Heart

Your word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against you.

I have recently been exposed to the thinking of some of those who would belittle God's Word and question its value. This got me to thinking about how important it has been in my life and how much we personally need the Word to survive in this heathen world we live in.

Our society has deteriorated rapidly and drastically since the Ten Commandments and prayer were removed from schools. But, this would not have happened if the Word had been honored and preserved in our homes and our lives. It has obviously been neglected to our personal and national peril and destruction.

Below I have listed a smattering of the scriptures hidden in my heart that minister to me and even preserve me in various life situations. There are many more. With all the new versions of scripture available, it is sometimes hard to keep all the wording precise but I believe it is the message (the wisdom) contained in the Bible that keeps us.

So, even if you aren't good at remembering the location, don't let that keep you from learning the message.

Each scripture, when meditated upon, is a sermon about the important issues of life. The more we know and live, the better our lives and influence.  That is true wisdom!

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that doesn't need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

The Word of God is quick and powerful sharper than any two-edged sword... revealing the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, Oh Lord, my strength and my redeemer.

The law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul. The testimonies of the Lord are pure making wise the simple. More to be desired are they then gold, yea than much fine gold. Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.

By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

We know that we have passed from death unto life if we have love for the brethren.

This is the greatest commandment. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength and your neighbor as yourself.

Love not in word but in deed.

If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all men liberally... and it shall be given unto him. But let him ask in faith, not wavering. Let not him who doubts think that he shall receive anything from the Lord for a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

No man is tempted by God, for God cannot be tempted by evil, neither does He tempt any man. Every man is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Lust when it has conceived brings forth sin and sin when it is finished brings forth death.

There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man. But God is faithful, Who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can handle but will, with the temptation, also provide a way of escape that you may be able to stand it.

All things are lawful unto me but all things are not expedient.
All things are lawful unto me but all things edify not.

Anyone who thinks he knows anything, knows nothing yet as he ought to know.

If everything you have, you received, why then do you boast?

Measuring themselves among themselves, they are not wise.

Love is patient, love is kind...it envies not, is not puffed up, is not easily provoked, keeps no record of wrongs, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never fails.

...three remain, faith, hope and charity, but the greatest of these is love.

Have you got faith? Have it unto yourself before God.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restore my soul.
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake.
Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
For You are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.
You anoint my head with oil. My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths..

Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.

"Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love."

The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God."

It is not God's will that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him and without Him was not anything made that was made.

He was in the world and the world was made by Him and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But to as many as received Him, to them He gave the power to become the sons of God, even to as many as believe on His name.

He has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Jesus said, "You must be born again."

Jesus said, "Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."

Jesus said, "No man comes...unless the Spirit draws Him. And He who comes to me I will in no wise cast out."

Jesus said, "In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you and when I come again, I will receive you unto Myself, that where I am you may be also."

For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.

Jesus said, "Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest."

Have you hidden God's Word in your heart? The time may come when it is the only place you will be able to find it. And, if that time comes,  you will need it more than you need anything else.

I encourage you to be diligent and to hide God's Word in your heart!

The Wondrous Word of Yahweh

Yahweh inspired more than 40 men to write down His messages to us in 3 languages over a period of 1500 years.  He then moved men to collect and preserve those writings throughout history. What an amazing accomplishment! Nothing is too difficult for Yahweh, The Almighty God.

However, many people today do not know Yahweh or acknowledge His accomplishments, so they deny the accuracy of scripture. Entire books have been written hoping to undermine widespread confidence in the eternal Word of God. I have read some of these writings intended to cause a loss of faith and have been encouraged by what I learned about the history of the Bible. My post today is to encourage an informed understanding of the issues and the facts.

Even those scholars who believe some errors have crept into the Scriptures through its long history are forced to admit those changes are few and far between and do not affect the Bible's overall message. The Jewish scribes who copied the Hebrew Old Testament by hand over many centuries followed very strict procedural guidelines to insure its accuracy. A partial list of those guidelines I found in The Story of the Bible by Larry Stone follows. (Great book!)

     a.  Nothing could be written from memory. A scribe was required to copy from another scroll and pronounce each word out loud before writing it down.

     b.  If a letter touched another letter or was written incorrectly, or if there was a hole, or a tear,
or a smudge which made reading difficult the scroll was not usable.

     c.  No column was to have less than 48 nor more than 60 lines and it was to be an exact copy of the original.

     d.  An editor would review the copy within 30 days of its completion counting every letter (304,805) and every word (79,976). The middle word of each copy was checked to make sure it was the same as the middle word on the scroll being copied.

     e.  Revisions within 30 days of completion were allowed as follows. A scribe could fix up to three mistakes on a single page. If a single letter was added or left out and not fixed within 30 days of completion the manuscript had to be buried. (see The Story of The Bible by Larry Stone.)

During the New Testament era, Jesus (God in the flesh) grew up using the Old Testament scrolls and did not complain about errors in them. In fact, Jesus and the New Testament writers quoted from 34 of the 39 Old Testament books.

In his public speaking, Jesus confirmed the accuracy of the Old Testament by referring to many portions of scripture.

In defense of monogamous marriage for a lifetime, He spoke of the creation of the first man and his wife at the beginning. He also spoke of Abel, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Lot and Lot's wife, Moses, Elijah and the widow in Zeraphath, Elisha, Naaman, David, Abiathar, Solomon, the Queen of Sheba, Zechariah, Daniel, Jonah, Satan, Sodom, Gommorah, The Law and the Prophets and Psalms.

He spoke of the people as historical figures and the places as historical places and He used the scriptures to confirm His identity and His mission.

Therefore, if we believe Jesus, we must believe what He said. He clearly endorsed the Old Testament as the inspired and prophetic Word of God. He said, "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled." Matthew 5:18

In addition, the modern day discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls has confirmed the remarkable accuracy of the Old Testament which was maintained by following those strict scribal guidelines.

The New Testament has been copied so many times there are thousands of ancient manuscripts to compare to each other today which verify its accuracy as a whole. Yes, there are a few scriptures considered to be spurious by some scholars. These few verses are rejected or questioned by some scholars because they are not found in the oldest known manuscripts. The debate continues but, even if a few verses are spurious, they do not have the effect of cancelling the inspiration of God in the 99+% unquestioned portion of the New Testament. They simply reflect human error or misplaced zeal.

For further insight see:

Yahweh gave us His Word for a purpose and has preserved His Word for that same purpose. Let's look at what the Word itself tells us about that purpose.

I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13 NLT

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Tim 3:16-17 NIV

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled. Romans 15:4 NLT

May you believe and receive eternal life. May you be fully equipped for every good work. May you have hope and be encouraged as you await the fulfillment of God's promises!

When a Bible Burns Christians Don't Commit Murder

With all the controversy over the burning of one copy of the Koran in the United States followed by rioting and murders in Afghanistan, I decided to look into the burning of Bibles by Muslims. I already knew they did it but needed some source material to document it.

I came across the following articles already compiled on another site which was free to use.

Free Republic, 25 May 2005, Saudi Arabia Desecrates Hundreds of Bibles Annually

Washington DC – The Saudi government burns and desecrates hundreds of bibles its security forces confiscate after raids on Christian expatriates worshiping privately or at border crossings.

As a matter of official policy, the government either incinerates or dumps bibles, crosses and other Christian paraphernalia.

Hundreds of Christian worshipers are arrested every year by Saudi police in raids on their private gatherings. Bibles, crosses and printed materials are confiscated and later burnt or dumped into trash. Bibles and other Christian paraphernalia found with travelers into the country are confiscated and destroyed.

Although considered as holy in Islam and mentioned in the Koran dozens of times, the Bible is banned in Saudi Arabia, and is confiscated and destroyed by government officials.

Recently, there has been a crackdown on symbols of Christianity in Saudi Arabia. On April 21st Saudi authorities raided a make-shift church in Riyadh and arrested 40 Christians. Many Christian religious symbols, such as crucifixes and bibles were later destroyed by Saudi security forces.

Justify This!, 10 Dec 2006, Muslim Students Urinate, Spit On Then Burn Bible

TWO Muslim students have been expelled from an Islamic school in Melbourne for urinating and spitting on a Bible and setting it on fire.

The explosive incident has forced the East Preston Islamic College to call in a senior imam to tell its 650 Muslim students that the Bible and Christianity must be respected.

Anxious teachers at the school have also petitioned principal Shaheem Doutie, expressing “grave concern” about an “inculcation of hatred and radical attitudes towards non-Muslims” at the school, including towards non-Muslim teachers.

…The boys come from a variety of ethnic Muslim backgrounds — one is believed to be an Albanian/Malaysian, another Lebanese and another Indonesian.

Associated Content, 18 Jun 2007, Christians in Gaza Fear for Their Lives as Muslims Burn Bibles and Destroy Crosses

Father Musalam additionally told The Jerusalem Post that the Muslim gunmen used rocket-propeled grenades (RPGs) to blow through the doors of the church and school, before burning Bibles and destroying every cross they could get their hands on.

Spero News, 19 Dec 2008, Muslims burn Bible in Pakistan

Pervez Masih tells AsiaNews that on that day, he and others were whitewashing and decorating the little church for Christmas. They stopped at noon for lunch, leaving the church open. When they returned, they found the bible and other sacred texts reduced to ashes, and a handwritten letter telling them to convert to Islam if they wanted to “live in peace” and avoid hell. In Pakistan, there is significant controversy over the law on blasphemy, condemning even to death those who offend the sacred book of Islam, the Qur’an. But nothing is done against blasphemous acts toward the books of other religions.

http://plancksconstant.org/blog1/2010/09/muslims_burn_bibles_routinely_and_often.html

I felt a need to post on this subject to highlight the difference between the behavior of Muslims and Christians. Can you even imagine Christians killing someone over burning a Bible?  And, if they did, can you imagine the outrage that would be expressed around the world? They would be mocked and harassed and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. No excuses would be made for them. The Bible burner wouldn’t be condemned.

But notice how differently Muslims are treated. Who gets the blame for their behavior? Pastor Terry Jones and Christianity, of course. His action is compared to a Muslim terrorist killing people.  Now this takes some twisted thinking.

He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, Both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD. Proverbs 17:15

I am not justifying or agreeing with Terry Jones for burning the Koran but I certainly won’t justify Muslim murderers. No one made them do what they did. They are responsible for their own actions and deserve censure and prosecution.

To excuse their beastly behavior is to treat them as beasts. They are in desperate need of the truth about Jesus Christ that can set them free from the terrible deception and oppression of Islam.

If you are a Muslim, I pray you will be delivered from the veil over your heart and eyes which keeps you from seeing the truth and finding salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus loves you. He died for you.

You can receive eternal life through faith in Him alone.

No Pillars of Works required.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16
